This webinar is an initiative of the newly-formed SVD Communication Forum, composed of communication personnel and scholars from various SVD Conferences. Many of you are already part of this forum, and I thank you sincerely for your active contribution and creative spirit.

The webinar seeks to be a platform for capacity building, formation, animation, and apostolate—all of which are central to our communication ministry as one of the SVD’s characteristic dimensions. It is also aligned with the action plan my office will be implementing for the upcoming six years, focusing on how we, as communicators and missionaries, respond to the evolving digital mission landscape.

We are grateful to have excellent speakers—SVD confreres and experts in communication—who have generously agreed to share their insights and experiences pro bono. Their presence underscores a shared commitment to reimagining our missionary engagement in the digital age.

Although the webinar is primarily designed for SVD members, we also welcome the participation of SVD lay partners, especially those involved in media, communication, or formation ministries.

This will be the first event of its kind under the SVD Communication Forum, and we hope it will be the beginning of many such collaborative efforts. I truly look forward to your participation, insights, and support in making this endeavor a success.
