December 10, 2025 marks a truly historic moment—one that may well be remembered in golden letters in the shared story of the R.O.C. (Taiwan) and the Society of the Divine Word. It represents the beginning of a transformative partnership for modern education among some of the world’s most vulnerable children. This initiative, inspired and championed by His Excellency Ambassador Anthony C. Y. Ho, stands as a testament to a vision rooted not in politics or economics, but in compassion and shared humanitarian values.

The Prophetic Dialogue lived through the Four Characteristic Dimensions in intercultural communities, at the service of local churches and all peoples, is our missionary drive and witness as Divine Word Missionaries. The experience of encountering so many confreres from such diverse cultural and missionary realities in AFRAM is a grace from God. A grace that becomes visible each time we, as Divine Word Missionaries, long for communion in life and mission.
Biblical Apostolate Coordinators Gather for the Triennial Zonal Meeting in Kinshasa
The recent zonal meeting for the four characteristic dimensions coordinators held in Kinshasa, DRC, proved deeply inspirational and helpful for the AFRAM Biblical Apostolate Coordinators. Eight of the twelve coordinators were able to attend, with most bringing extensive experience in this ministry.

Fire Volunteers Training in Afram Plains
From December 21 to 23rd, 2023, the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) and the Holy Spirit Sisters (SSpS) Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) partnered with the Apostolic Vicariate of Donkorkrom and the Ghana Fire Service in Donkorkrom to organize a fire volunteer training program for Afram Plains residents.
