SVD Formators and Vocation Promoters Complete Two-Month Workshop in Steyl and Nemi

On 03 September, 27 SVD Formators and Vocation Promotors hailing from Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Philippines, United States of America, Slovakia, Ghana, Togo, Congo and Kenya and missioned to 18 SVD PRMs commenced their two-month workshop at Steyl. Within the first few days of the inauguration, they had a unique privilege of witnessing and participating in the memorable celebrations of 150 years of the Foundation of the Society of the Divine Word. About three weeks stay at Steyl community listening to input on the Founding Generation accompanied by guided tours and a pilgrimage to Issum-Kevelaer-Goch enlivened their religious-missionary vocation in the SVD.

St. Arnold Janssen Bible Center’s Mission

The St. Arnold Janssen Bible Center, a collaborative effort between the Divine Word Missionaries (SVD) and the Holy Spirit Sisters (SSpS) in Ruteng Flores West, was established in 2020 in response to a challenge from Ruteng Bishop, Mgr.
