The February 2026 issue of Arnoldus Nota opens with a Word from the Generalate Leadership Team on Peace and Reconciliation, inviting all of us as Divine Word Missionaries to reflect on this theme as central to our identity, mission, and communal life in today’s wounded world.

Building on this spiritual and missionary focus, the issue also presents the first letter of the Superior General in Mission Horizons as a new channel for shared reflection and discernment for our whole SVD family.

Moreover, we encounter significant moments across the Society: the SVD leadership caucus in Rome, priestly and diaconate ordinations in Vietnam, formation initiatives in Spain, lived mission experiences in Papua New Guinea and India, and vibrant intercultural and pastoral celebrations in Africa and Latin America.

Together, these stories help us see ourselves as an international, intercultural, and missionary SVD walking in communion and service to the Word.
