Europa Zonal Formation Assembly is to be held on February 11-16, 2025 in Duenas, Spain. The theme of the Assembly is, “Forming Creative Minds and Faithful Hearts: Collaborative Pathways for Effective Missionary Formation”.  A number of formators from the zone together with the Europa zonal coordinator, Franz Helm will participate in the assembly. Pushpa Anbu Augustine (General Secretary for Formation and Education) and Raul Acosta (Assistant General Secretary for Brothers Formation) will represent the Generalate with presentations on the SVD Ratio Formationis Generalis and Brothers affairs in the Society. The entire program has been ably formulated and executed by the Europa Zonal Formation coordinator, Marlon Bobier Vargas. We congratulate him on his new appointment as the editor of Arnoldus Nota at the Generalate.

Adam MacDonald, a special invitee from PANAM zone will share his insights on innovations, challenges, and insights from the perspective of PANAM Zone. It is in accordance with one of the recommendations of the General Chapter, “That the general administration encourage the participation of selected formators of one zone in the formation gatherings of the other zones, in view of mutually enriching the formation programs in the different zones” (GC 18, 2.1.3). Participation of  Sr. Svitlana Matsiuk SSpS in the assembly definitely facilitate better collaboration and  cooperation in the ministry of formation and education. The assembly will conclude with charting new path forward: synthesis, collaboration and commitment with action plans for future implementation in the zone.
