Capitulars Maintain Steady Pace on Resolutions and Recommendations
The Capitulars maintained their focus on approving resolutions and recommendations. The first order of business was the result of the evaluation of the Zones, mandated by the 18th General Chapter.

While there’s strong support for the zones’ existence, questions remain about their actual functioning. The committee recommended maintaining the current Zonal Structure but with a greater emphasis on sub-zones. They proposed that the general council take the lead in establishing mechanisms to strengthen sub-zone operations.
Basic groups met to discuss this recommendation and other zone-related issues. They later reported their discussions in the plenum hall, raising questions about zone finances and other pertinent matters. The Capitulars will return to these discussions and vote on the recommendation.
Throughout the day, the Capitulars reviewed and voted on several resolutions and recommendations covering various areas from spirituality to formation. As the week progresses, more resolutions and recommendations await discussion.

The second day of the fourth week concluded with celebrating the Holy Eucharist in honor of Mary’s Annunciation. Marian Schwark, the Provincial of Togo, was the principal celebrant. He shared his missionary journey, highlighting the significance of Mary’s Fiat and its relevance to the missionary spirit.
