Hakuna Matata: Celebrating Unity and Culture at the Closure of the General Chapter
The 19th General Chapter concluded in a celebration on Saturday, July 13. The evening perfectly captured the Swahili phrase “Hakuna matata,” meaning “no trouble or worries.” This phrase embodied the joyful spirit of the event, which was held at the Centro Ad Gentes Plaza.

SSpS-SSpSAP Leadership Team Engages with Capitulars on Mission and Legacy
Today marked a special day filled with anticipation as Fr. Budi Kleden opened the gathering with a warm welcome. The SSpS Leadership Team, led by Sister Miriam and General Councilor Sister Raquel SSpSAP, joined the session to address the Capitulars and engage in meaningful interactions.
Capitulars Maintain Steady Pace on Resolutions and Recommendations
The Capitulars maintained their focus on approving resolutions and recommendations. The first order of business was the result of the evaluation of the Zones, mandated by the 18th General Chapter.
Capitulars Elect General Admonitor and Engaged in Deep Discussions and Global Insights
The fourth week began with online prayer from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The General Admonitor was elected from the General Councilors. A revised working paper was presented. In the afternoon, a plenary session was held to review pending resolutions and recommendations. Finally, a panel discussion on the Ukraine-Russia situation took place after dinner.
