A Journey of Inspiration: Fr. Xavier’s Visit to Formation Houses of Indo-Bangla Subzone
His journey began with a heartfelt homecoming to St. Charles’ Apostolic School in Trichy, where he celebrated the Sesquicentennial Jubilee. He reminded the community of the Society’s humble beginnings and its valuable contribution to the global Church.
From Trichy to Mhow, Khurda, Palda, Bhopal, Indore, Sason, Pune and Chittagong, Fr. Xavier’s visits were marked by messages on spiritual discipline, intercultural living, pastoral responsibility, and readiness for global missions. Drawing from his own experiences and the lives of founding fathers St. Arnold Janssen and St. Joseph Freinademetz, he urged seminarians to embrace difficult missions with faith and dedication.
Every stop included rich moments of engagement—Eucharistic celebrations, personal sharing, Q&A sessions, and cultural expressions. His reflections emphasized that formation is not just about knowledge, but about shaping hearts rooted in prayer, humility, and service to the Church’s evolving needs.
Fr. Xavier’s presence inspired both formators and students, leaving behind a lasting message: true leadership in mission is about compassion, commitment, and joyful service.
