We are pleased to announce that Fr. Henryk Ślusarczyk, SVD, has been appointed as a new member of the International Core Team (ICT) of the Arnold Janssen Spirituality Network (AJSN) in Steyl. This appointment marks a new phase in the mission of the Spirituality Network as it continues its work of promoting Arnold’s spirituality and its presence worldwide.

Henryk will fill the vacancy left by Fr. Dusicka, who, as a member of ICT, served as General Coordinator of Spiritual Animation. It is worth noting that the office of the General Coordinator of Spiritual Animation will no longer exist (its objectives have been successfully achieved). In this context, Fr. Henryk’s contribution will be crucial in maintaining the spiritual focus and promoting the growth of the AJSN through its various initiatives and projects.

Henryk brings with him profound training and experience in the spiritual field. His ability to guide and accompany others on their spiritual journey, combined with his dedication to the SVD mission, makes him a natural choice for this important role. His inclusion in the ICT not only reaffirms the SVD’s commitment to the Spirituality Network, but also underscores the SVD’s ongoing commitment to strengthening spiritual identity and integral formation.

Henryk joins Fr. Dennis Manzana, who is also part of this international team (since December 2021). This further reflects the active participation of the Congregation in this global space of spirituality. The presence of two confreres in the ICT of the AJSN is a testimony to the importance of spiritual animation within the Congregation and the Network. It strengthens the bond among AJ family members worldwide.

This appointment marks a new chapter in the life of the Spirituality Network. It is an assurance that its mission to accompany and spiritually animate members of the AJ family will continue to serve as a beacon of light and hope on the journey of faith.
