Dear Father Anselmo,
Dear Divine Word Missionaries,
On behalf of all the Adoration Sisters, I would like to congratulate you and all members of the SVD on this wonderful anniversary. One hundred and fifty years ago, our dear founder, St Arnold Janssen, started a movement of love, faith, mission and prayer — a movement that lives on through you today and continues in the Arnoldus family.
This anniversary reminds us that the Gospel is the true light – a light that makes hope visible in darkness. Under the motto
“Witnessing to the light, From everywhere to everyone.”
we celebrate how your witness shines in the world through word and deed, prayer and service, listening and learning, and ecumenical openness and interreligious respect.
May the new chapter of the Divine Word Missionaries be marked by even greater trust, deeper communion, and courageous witness. Our prayers will always be with you.
