Thousands of horseback riders and pilgrims participated in the traditional journey from Quitilipi to the Provincial Park in Pampa del Indio, covering approximately 100 kilometers. The pilgrimage was led by an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary and brought together faithful, gauchos, walkers, and pilgrims fulfilling promises from different parts of northern Argentina. Over the years, the Cabalgata de la Fe has become a celebration deeply rooted in the culture of Chaco Province.

On July 27, the feast of St. Pantaleon, numerous pilgrims arrived on horseback or on foot at the shrine dedicated to the saint in the Provincial Park of Pampa del Indio. St. Pantaleon is venerated as the patron saint of physicians, the sick, and those seeking relief from physical ailments or spiritual healing. The pilgrimage thus became a public expression of faith and devotion.

The celebration was also attended by Leandro Zdero, Governor of Chaco Province; former Governor Ángel Rozas, who initiated the Cabalgata de la Fe; mayors from several municipalities; vendors; pilgrims; and members of the general public.

The event culminated with the celebration of the Holy Mass and a folk festival. The solemn Eucharist was presided over by Archbishop Ramón Alfredo Dus, Archbishop of Resistencia-Chaco, who recalled in his homily that faith sustains, strengthens, and accompanies the lives of believers.

The gathering concluded with a performance by renowned Argentine folk singer Chaqueño Palavecino, together with other artists, bringing to a close two days marked by pilgrimage, faith, tradition, and community celebration.
