Rehearsals for the carol singers’ songs began during Advent in preparation for the campaign. On the preparation day on 31st December and the launching day (6th January – Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord), the children learned that it is important to advocate for other children, their peers. It is an unfortunate reality that many children around the world have to live in difficult, sometimes unbearable conditions.

Between the New Year’s Day and 10th January 2026, so many children, youth and some parents were out with great enthusiasm, bringing blessings and joy to people, but also being a blessing themselves. The freezing weather did not deter them from carrying out this campaign. During house blessings, on streets and squares, and in caritative institutions, donations were once again collected for the projects worldwide run by the children’s mission organisation (The Carol Singers). This years’ motto is: „School instead of factory.“ Children everywhere in the world, regardless of where they are, have the right to healthy food, education and healthcare.

The money collected amounts to € 22,536.97 and ₣ 20. A heartfelt gratitude goes to the indefatigable team, to all the children, youth and parishioners who got involved and supported this important campaign. A sincere thanks to all those whose donations have given children a future.
