The day began with a time of prayer led by the Brazil Subzone, focusing on the dimension of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JUPIC). The prayer helped participants place the day’s work within a spiritual and missionary perspective, recognizing that every pastoral action flows from an encounter with God and is directed toward the service of people and creation.

Four Dimensions, One Mission
The second session focused on the Congregation’s four Characteristic Dimensions. The Generalate coordinators — Richard Quadros, SVD, JUPIC coordinator; Kasmir Nema, SVD, Communication Coordinator; Wojciech Szypula, SVD, Biblical Apostolate; and Marcelo Cattaneo, SVD, Mission Animation — presented the journey and developments of their respective areas.

Their presentations offered an overview of the history and evolution of each dimension, major initiatives undertaken and current activities. They also provided an opportunity to identify achievements, ongoing challenges and expectations for the coming years.

Rather than simply presenting reports of activities, the session highlighted how the four dimensions are called to complement one another and contribute together to the mission of the Congregation.

The Richness of the Five Subzones
The third and fourth sessions focused on the experiences of the five subzones that make up PANAM.

Each delegation presented key experiences and challenges from its local context, highlighting the cultural, social and pastoral diversity of the PANAM Zone. The reports provided an opportunity to share concrete initiatives and to discover how communities are seeking creative responses to the new challenges of mission.

The diversity of experiences also underscored the importance of exchange and collaboration among the subzones. Despite their different contexts, participants recognized common challenges and the need to continue learning from one another.

A Space for Dialogue
The fifth session was dedicated to dialogue and feedback. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, explore the topics presented in greater depth and share their own perspectives.

This open exchange fostered a fraternal and constructive atmosphere in which the experiences of the different subzones could be heard and mutually enriched.

The day concluded with the celebration of the Eucharist and a shared dinner with the Divine Word Laity, strengthening the bonds of communion and collaboration that are an essential part of the mission of the Divine Word Family.

At the end of the day, participants renewed their commitment to continue walking together as faithful and creative disciples, seeking new ways to respond to the challenges of mission and to contribute to an increasingly synodal, participatory and missionary Church.
