Warsaw, Poland, February 27 – The Polish Province of the Society of the Divine Word is once again actively participating in the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the SVD. This time it is a missiological conference to be held at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (UKSW). The program includes 10 presentations on the history, present and future of the Congregation. The main focus is on the participation of members of our Congregation in research and scientific reflection in the fields of anthropology and ethnology, missiology, sinology, higher education, music and dance, biblical apostolate and migration.

The meeting of the Hybrid Charter is being attended by more than 50 people live and the same number online. They are confreres from the Polish Province of the SVD, as well as academics, students, friends and collaborators. The language of the meeting is Polish, because the potential addressees are people from Poland who are interested in the rich research and scientific potential of the Missionaries of the Divine Word. It is worth mentioning that the tradition of research and science in the Polish Province includes a large group of SVDs.
