From February 10 to 15, 2025, the Divine Word Missionaries of Colombia province gathered in the vibrant city of Manizales for their Provincial Assembly.

This week-long event brought together members of the congregation to reflect on their work, share experiences, and plan for the future.

During the assembly, participants discussed a wide range of topics including ongoing training, sharing reports, and recounting mission experiences. They also focused on practical issues such as community activities—including sports—and the implementation of policies to ensure proper financial management.

In addition, the group took time to analyze both the challenges and opportunities present in Colombia, aiming to find new ways to effectively share their message and serve the community.

The event featured plenary sessions, small group discussions, and moments for prayer and personal reflection. Through these activities, members exchanged ideas and made key decisions that will shape the future direction of their work.

Ultimately, the assembly was about more than just planning; it was a chance to renew their commitment to spreading hope and positivity.

With a refreshed spirit and a determination to update their methods and strengthen collaborations, the gathering concluded with a shared vision: to continue shining as a beacon of light, peace, and justice throughout Colombia.
