The ORF video on the 150th anniversary of the SVD

The Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) produced a short documentary to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the SVD. The rector, Fr. Franz Pilz, was interviewed at St. Gabriel’s Seminary, which was established by Saint Arnold Janssen in 1889 as the sole major seminary of the Divine Word Missionaries prior to the First World War. This institution has played a significant role in the formation of over 2,000 SVD priests.
Currently, Saint Gabriel’s Seminary is hosting a Jubilee exposition, featuring historical documents, ethnographic objects, slides, and videos, along with information about the present activities and global mission of the SVD.
