Secretary for the Spanish Language

Asunción Vazquez Bustamante, SVD

In a ratified decision on December 19, 2023, Father Superior General officially appointed Father Asuncion Vazques Bustamante SVD from Encarnacion, Paraguay, as the Secretary for the Spanish Language.

Ordained in 2018 and affectionately known as Father Jonas, he draws on his experience in Ghana and previous responsibilities in parish work in Accra. Father Jonas took on a mission in Liberia following his commitment to Ghana. We extend a warm welcome and best wish to Father Jonas as he undertakes his secretarial duties.
