75 years of the presence of the Society of the Divine Word in Portugal
Rome, December 14, 2023: Father Jose Antunes da Silva expressed profound elation and satisfaction at the commencement of the 75th jubilee year of the Society of the Divine Word, marked by a significant event held in Fatima, Portugal on December 14, 2023. Although unable to attend personally, Father Eryk Koppa represented the Generalate in a well-planned but simple kickoff for the jubilee year, set to culminate in November 2024. Father Antunes da Silva, having previously served as the Provincial and as one of the Portuguese priests dispatched to the foreign missions, possesses an intimate understanding of the province's evolution.
